| Benavista is located between San Pedro and Estepona and approximately 65kms from Malaga airport. It is easily accessible from the N340 (km 166). Benavista is an area comprising of a number of custom-built urbanisations, predominantly populated by foreigners. It is situated inland, but is only about 3kms from the beach.
One of the most popular attractions in Benavista is the Benavista Bowls Club. Benavista Bowls Club is one of the most popular on the coast, has many active members and organises a regular series of tournaments, which attracts players from up and down the coast as well as from abroad. Green fees at Benavista Bowls Club are less the €7,00 and includes bowls hire. Membership costs €6,00, with a €5,00 green fee charge to play. There is also a clubhouse and bar at Benavista Bowls Club.
